Mobile Phone Viruses are Progressing
If you have a personal computer you will know that you need to install your system with every piece or technology, antivirus and anti malware out there. This is only because of the fact that hackers create these viruses to tap into peoples computer and store worthful data such as bank details and net connection settings. Hacking and viruses cost the online community millions, if not billions of dollars every single year.
But this could all soon be changing; we could now be seeing a new flourish of viruses attacking something altogether different and that is mobile phones. Over the past decade or so the mobile phone market has literally exploded. But over the preceding few years we have seen an addition in smart phones, instead of phones that just call phone numbers, hitting the market. What these phones are famous for though is the internet, you can literally surf the internet like you would do on any single computer throughout the world, but these phones do not seem to have any anti virus or anti hacking software in place. Hence this makes it a downright hackers dream. You could simply end up download virus after virus on your handset.
What makes this even more distressful is that the hackers could potentially see everything available on your phone. As well as this they could also tap into your phone line and run up a huge bill for you. As we are already well mindful sassy phones are primarily on contract, so there is no limit on the bill that the hackers could run up.
Mobile virus software needs to hit the mass scale market and it needs to be preinstalled on the mobile phones before they get purchased. Otherwise we could see a huge increase in mobile phone fraud.
