You Must Visit The National Parks in Utah

The scenery in Utah makes it one of the best vacation spots in the world especially if you are an outdoor lover. Below is a short list of the 5 great Utah National Parks which you will want to see whenever you take a vacation in Southern Utah.

  1. The Arches National Park

This park is an extremely wounderful place to visit and it contains a few incredible formations. The park contains hundreds of giant arch shaped rocks.

It is very amazing to think that these all formed naturally. it almost unbelievable that they formed naturally and not aided by mankind.

2. Bryce Canyon National Park

Bryce Canyon has some of the most beautiful viewpoints. There are a number of spots here that you will be able to see simply spectacular canyon rock formations below. It really shows you how beautiful the Utah scenery is.

3. Canyonlands

Canyonlands is known for their gigantic Needle rock formations which can be extremely impressive. These giant rocks seem to burst out of the ground and create a valley filled with amazing sandstone structures. The only bad part about this park is that it is split into 3 different sections.

These sections are cut off from each other so you are limited on what you can see. It takes at least 3 days to see everything the park has to offer because each section is a day trip on its own.

4. The Capitol Reef National Park

This is a very interesting park with an amazing wash. The Waterpocket in the park was formed around 65 million years ago and stretches over 100 miles. It is truly a site to see. In addition to this there are also Indian carvings which you can get a great close up look at.

5. Zion National Park

There are a few great waterfalls in this park. It is closer to a more traditional forest which contain greenery and lots of water then any of the other parks.

All the National Parks in Utah on this list are extremely beautiful and show off Utah’s wonderful land. The next time you take a vacation to Southern Utah make sure you spend a few days visiting them.
