Great Outdoor Things to Do in Utah

Utah is a fantastic state which offers some amazing outdoor activities for all nature enthusiasts. There is something for everyone to do in southern Utah. In fact here is a short list of 4 different activities that can be very fun to do in Utah.

  1. Hike The National Parks

Utah has some amazing national parks which really show off its land. Parks such as The Arches, Zions, Bryce Canyon, Canyonlands, and Capitol Reef all allow you to enjoy a different aspect of Utah’s natural beauty.

Coming to these 5 great Utah National Parks will not only give you a lot of great photo opportunities, but they will also teach you a little something about how mother nature works and how the amazing rock structures in Utah where formed.

2. Hike The State Parks

In addition to the gigantic National Parks that are spread out through the state there are also a lot of smaller state parks which are just as beautiful, but a little smaller. There are a lot of great places in both the National and State parks to take pictures of the Utah scenery.

3. Fishing and Hunting

Utah has some great fishing lakes, one of which has been voted one of the top fishing lakes in North America many times now. Utah is a fishermen’s dream land beause it contains fishing spots such as Fish Lake, Lake Powell, and Panguitch Lake.

There is also a lot of action when it comes to Utah hunting because the state has a high population of deer and offers hunting for many different species of animals. You will almost certainly come back with a few great hunting stories.

4.Golfing

Utah has some beautiful golf courses which are surrounded by unbelievable sandstone formations. While we all want to focus on our game, it is always a nice thing to be placing golf at a beautiful course with a great view.

These are just some of the many great outdoor attractions that Southern Utah has to offer. If you are planning to take a trip to this state you will want to bring a camera and get ready for some outdoor fun.
