Items For Office Use
There are things that you need in the office that you might not first think of. I am not talking about the boring office furniture or the very dull ergonomic chair, but of some of the things you could use to brighten up those dull serviced offices to make the employees a bit happier.
Coffee Machine
Although this sounds like a very simple request, many places do not have one of these and employees are forced to go out for coffee or make it all themselves. If you think about it, not only with the employees be happier with better quality tea and coffee but it will work out for you too as they will be spending less time making the drinks!
Pool Table
Yes they are expensive but they can really help with the levels of happiness of the employees so it could be really worth it. A plus side to having these in the office is that every so often you can have tournaments during lunch and breaks.
Television
This again is something that is likely to improve the moods of the people working for you. If you are a company that needs to be keeping an eye on the news then stick the news channel on during the hours that are not lunch so employees can keep up to date on things. The best thing to do here is to stick on the subtitles to make sure nobody gets annoyed.
Games Consoles
In our office you can already find two big tvs, an Xbox 360 and a Nintendo wii. It means that those boring lunchtimes can be spend in a better way and all of the stress of work can be forgotten about for a bit.
Although you could possibly think these investments are not worth taking at all it could all help with the work rates.
