There Are Many Games Set In Africa
There have actually been a fair few games made that are set in Africa and some of them have caused some really big arguments. These ones have to be the top three.
Resident Evil 5
Resident Evil 5 or Biohazard 5 in Japan was released earlier this year and is of course one of the many games in the Resident Evil survival horror franchise. Capcom were the ones that made this game as they always do and the game is actually the 7th in the series. The game is not based on a real African location but is located in the fictional town of Kijuju. Out of all of the games set in Africa it would seem this one caused the most trouble as in the first trailer the only people you were killing were black people. The game was eventually seen as not being racist.
Call Of Duty- World At War
The main story only has a couple of missions that are actually set in Africa but the race row came from the japanese and not the Africans as they thought they were being showed in the wrong way. On the other hand it is widely known that the Japanese treated all of their POW’s really badly.
Far Cry 2
Once again this game is set in a town that is made up. This game was set in 2008 as this was the year that it was released. You play a guy with maleria who is hunting someone known as the jackal. The thing is the Jackal is causing a lot of the problems as he is supplying both sides with weapons. One of the reasons that made this game so good is that you can go wherever you want in the map.
If you think that some of these locations look like they are worth visiting then get over to the real Africa and see what you think? Tanzania Holidays, Mozambique Holidays and of course South Africa Holidays could be the right holiday to take.
