Apple’s iPhone might be quite an expensive option, but if you’re looking for a present for a particularly special occassion, the iPhone might be an excellent choice.

For example, let’s say you’re buying the phone as a gift for someone who’s about to go off to university. You could download apps to help with trains and travel, cheap cookery apps, tv apps, apps to help you compare prices and save money, etc. So you gift becomes extremely useful for a long period of time.

The iPhone is quite expensive, but is suitable if you’re after presents for someone graduation or for 18th Birthday gifts. If you take the phone with a pay as you go sim card you’ll have to pay quite a lot for the phone, but they’re free on monthly contract which can often work out cheaper.
