Poor US Car Sales Again
It looks like the sales of cars over in the US is down again and this time I am almost certain in saying there is no recession to put the blame on. so with car companies still not saying that they are to blame what is the reason this time, if there is a legitimate reason at all, let’s take a look?
Low Figures
Well the industry seems to be having a bad August, in fact one of the very worst since 1962 with only 11.6 million vehicles being sold and although this sounds like a fantastic figure it is not and this is a very poor one indeed, one of the worst of the year and the industry really needs to look into the mistakes they are making and things they need to do to fix it! It would seem that something needs to be done soon to bring back those sales of things like thosepeople carriers and of course the Ford fiesta back up again.
How Has This Happened??
It looks like one of the main things that went wrong with the industry is that they have stopped putting discounts across a lot of the cars and this is stopping a lot of people bothering in even thinking about getting a new car. A couple of months ago the industry was actually looking fantastic again but these were not really the best of figures because people were putting massive discounts on cars to shift them. Now these discounts have stopped they are struggling to even shift the BMW x6 which is a great shame.
The Only Solution
it looks like the only ways people are going to be able to fix some of this damage that has been done is to put discounts back on cars so people are going to look into buying cars from you once again. if you cannot afford to look into some kind of massive discount then think of something to throw into the mix!
