The summer has arrived in the UK so lots of people are looking forward to some hot weather. To be honest I run Birmingham florists business around Birmingham, West Midlands, I am looking forward to the summer flower shows which takes place around May and June. Last month in May I visited Chelsea Flower Show In Chelsea, London that was held in the grounds of the Royal Hospital and was held by Royal Horticultural Society. It was my first experience as my father used to normally go to these shows.
I have recently joined our family business, which is the floristry of course so I am getting used to it slowly and swiftly. Today I thought I will let you know few things about summer flowers. I was always keen on flowers but since I joined the business and been to the flower show my knowledge on flowers has grown than before. Flowers such as amaranthus, foxgloves, bouvardia, bellflower, dahlia, aster, freesia, ginger, gardenia, heliconia, daisy, gerbera and many more are all types of summer flowers.
There are some names above which lots of people have not heard about but I am sure everyone has heard about Jasmine flowers. Because of it’s unique fragrance Jasmine flowers are loved by all people. This is also a summer flower. Lavender also provides a beautiful unique fragrance and also is a summer flower. Lavender fragrance is also used in many products from cleaning to beauty. If you collect this two flowers and create a bouquet, they can make a great bouquet of birthday flowers.
