YouTube’s Power

Mar 2, 2011

In the past a number of years, YouTube sensations have spawned clever one-liners that you might have seen, which includes “Leave Britney alone!”, “Charlie bit me” and “Hide yo’ wife”.

The third statement was coined from a man named Antoine Dodson, a man who found fame in the recent past, after he gave some advice to folks during an interview with NBC. He was in a live interview in July of 2010, about an individual climbing into his house window and then getting into bed with Dodson’s sister. He offered some candid opinions with reporters after hearing her call for aid and rushing to rescue her.

Quicker than the speed of YouTube, his “ghetto-esque” opinions got the attention of several, and his interview has been viewed a lot more than 19 million times on YouTube. Such as 1 on iTunes, it has even been missed into songs. He has capitalized by starting his own website, where you can buy merchandise t-shirts and “bed intruder” costumes.

Despite the reality that it capitalized on his “ghetto-esque commentary and had a style all of its own, Dodson isn’t the only one to have a viral video. Thanks to YouTube he just isn’t the only one to garner his five minutes of fame.

“Paparazzi” made well-known by Lady Gaga but immortalized by Greyson Chance in April this year. Only 13 years old and already Ellen DeGeneres has signed a record deal with him. He uploaded a talent show video showing his piano-playing and song stylings that has nearly 34 million views, and new comments galore.

Not even understanding how popular his video is, is yet another YouTube star. Appearing on TV networks after being uploaded to YouTube a couple of weeks just before November was “Calming the Baby Beast”. Embry dancing on his vehicle seat, along with his infectious smile, makes it a well-liked YouTube video.

Charlie and his own brother Harry have similar stories. The phrase “Charlie bit my finger – again!” comes from this video. The sweet, innocent attitude that Harry has towards the biting by his brother, along with his cute accent, made him a sensation on YouTube. This video has had nearly 250 million views, and his parents have a blog where they update fans on their family.

You by no means know what will be a hit – and what will be ignored – on YouTube, but it is undoubtedly enjoyable to discover the newest videos and also the way individuals unite around them, showing the power of YouTube.

If you need to unblock youtube you could do so using a unblock youtube proxy or a youtube proxy.
