As a child I could never see the point of keeping in the kitchen so many different types of glasses
I don’t think I can recall all those different types of mugs, glasses for water, wine, whiskey, spirits, shots, champagne glasses and many more!. My parents’ affection and love was totally vanishing in the view of their posh glassware being into pieces and me running away as I knew what was going to follow.
When my mom was out shopping things were not as bad as I could feel my dad’s sympathy towards me, although his attitude was totally changing once my mom would be back home.The next thing they had to decide on was what my punishment was going to be, which varied from having to hand over my ball to them and be without it for weeks to not be getting any money for 1-2 weeks so I was going to learn my lesson.I never accepted my punishment without arguing about it and my main argument was always the same: why do we need all those different types of glasses anyway…When I grown up a bit more and started drinking beer and spirits at my friends’ parties I started realising the reason why all those different types exist. continue reading »
