A German study has demonstrated that blonde women performed worse in IQ style tests if they had first been exposed to ‘all blondes are dumb’ style jokes before taking the tests. The study involving 80 women appeared to show how suggesting that blondes were less smart than others significantly influenced their confidence.

In a German study it was found that blonde women performed intelligence tests more slowly after having read jokes that were about the supposed stupidity of blondes. The study used around 80 women with various hair colors and appeared to show how the suggestion that blondes were less bright adversely affected their confidence.
