The recession was not something that helped a lot of people and it was most likely known as a global catastrophe. It actually put so many people in debt but how did it do this. Do you think this was the general populace’s fault or not?? continue reading »

Old buildings in a high street in the UK that have been hit by the recession have now all been turned into booming shops with plenty to look at. Now the reason that they are doing this is not to make people look inside and make the mistake of going in (although that is very funny indeed) it is to help the surviving companies in the area by making people think the high street isn’t in the mess that it really is.

As it currently stands at the moment the only place that it is being used is on one high street but it does seem to be working and it will then be deployed across the country, to fill all those empty Woolworth’s stores I am sure. continue reading »

Expensive Fuel

May 9, 2010

It would seem that over the past few months we have seen major increases in the prices of fuel here in the UK and I know this to be true across the entire world too but why is this, is there really any major needs to actually put the fuel up so high or are companies simply looking to be greedy.

Its running out, yes oil is very slowly running out and although there are most likely more hidden reserves to be found it would still seem that over the years we have used far too much oil that needed. Because of this fact it would seem that not only the consumers are panicking but many of the oil companies are too and are putting up the prices to try and sway people from actually buying the fuel. continue reading »

The 2009 figures were very bad when it comes to the amount of people booking an overseas vacation and I have to say that the recession was mostly to blame for this, even if people did have the money they were simply not going to risk spending it on a vacation. On the other hand more and more people chose to stick to having a vacation in their own country so local tourism was up simply because of this.

Major destinations such as Orlando, Florida saw a massive decrease in the amount of people visiting the theme parks last year because of this. continue reading »

Spring is most certainly on the way there is no doubt about that but it is still very cold out there so when people go and sit down in a restaurant they expect to be warm. If you are thinking about going to a restaurant in the middle of the winter you are surely expecting the place to feel nice and cosey inside?

This means that when opening up the doors to their serviced offices they are very picky on who they actually choose to hire. So if you get contacted and they say that you are in for an interview, what do you do? continue reading »

Well the fact is that we will not see the true end to the recession for a number of months even though officially it is over here in the UK there are still so many businesses out there that will continue to suffer because of a few people that comeplely made a mess of the worlds money.

Although the recession really did destroy a lot of the economy it had to happen.

This is the way that it all works and because of the huge boom that lasted such a long period of time a huge recession was bound to hit the world hard sooner or later. The recession came down hard and fast on the world and was a bit unexpected for the people that knew nothing about the business world yet it would seem that the worst affect are the businesses. continue reading »

The recession that has just been has taken away a lot of confidence when it comes to buying major things like a brand new car. A new car is a big deal there is no doubt about that, but with many car companies raising their prices last year and more price increases on the way for this year, buyers really do not have anything special to look forward too.

The governments rather brilliant car scrappage scheme is nearly over which means you are going to start getting ripped off for a brand new car again so watch out for all of this. continue reading »
